Book Week 2016

The Book Fair took place this week creating great excitement throughout the school. The children took part in various competitions such as making colourful bookmarks and posters, designing alternative book covers and writing comic strips. On Friday Mr.Barry held an assembly in the hall and a lot of the children dressed up as their favourite book character. Well done to all those who took part, some of the costumes were absolutely amazing! Thank you to the Parents Council for coming in to sell books during the week. Some of the profit from the Book Fair goes towards replenishing our class libraries so all support was greatly appreciated.
